11th & Grant with Eric Funk is the premiere outlet for music performance in Montana, seeking out the state's most acclaimed, accomplished, and pioneering talent. The twelve-time Emmy® winning performance series also devotes significant time to each artist's personal story, insights into their music and their approach to life, ultimately providing a deeper experience than a seat at a concert. Accomplished composer and musician Eric Funk serves as host and artistic director, hand selecting each performer from communities around the state to form a diverse series featuring genres from jazz to classical, country to zydeco, and rock to fusion.

With celebrated host Eric Funk serving as artistic director, the Emmy Award-winning series 11th & Grant seeks out the best musicians in Montana and invites them into your home, fusing in-depth interviews with state-of-the-art studio performances at KUSM-TV studio, located at 11th and Grant in Bozeman, MT. As artistic director and host, Eric hand selects each performer from communities around the state to form a diverse series featuring genres from jazz to classical, country to zydeco, and rock to fusion.

SCOTT STERLING

Director & Producer


Scott has been producing and directing award-winning films and television series for Montana PBS for over 20 years, and serves as director of pr oduction in Bozeman, MT. His work as producer, director, editor, and cinematographer includes the documentary features Mavericks, The Violin Alone, Fort Peck Dam, and Without Words, and the signature music performance series 11th & Grant with Eric Funk, now in its 15th season. Scott also works as a freelance post-production colorist, with recent work appearing on National Geographic Channel, Smithsonian Channel, PBS, and the History Channel. Scott has earned thirteen Emmy® Awards from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences - Northwest Chapter, and revels in the juxtaposition of story, art, and technology that is contemporary filmmaking.

Paul "Gomez" Routhier

Producer & Series Creator


Gomez grew up in Rhode Island and received his bachelor’s degree in economics from Providence College. He had a distinguished career in the U.S. Air Force as an Aviator where he flew extensively in North America, the Artic, the UK, Europe, the Mediterranean, Central America, and Africa. He served in Southeast Asia flying AC-130 Specter gunships, and in April 1975, Gomez piloted and commanded the second airplane in to fly cover for the evacuations in Saigon. After more than 40 years of service in the Federal Government, he and his wife Mary moved to Bozeman, MT in Sep 2001. In 2003, Gomez conceptualized the idea for 11th & Grant and worked with Montana PBS to create this Emmy® Awarding winning Television show where he serves as a lead producer and series creator. You will often find Gomez and his wife Mary in attendance at Bobcat athletic events. Gomez and Mary are passionate Montanans. They love to ski, golf, ride his Harley, and travel. They are blessed to enjoy the magic of living in Montana.

Jeremiah Slovarp

Jereco Studios, Inc.

Audio Director


Jeremiah began his career as a location sound engineer on films and commercials. In 2002 he started Jereco Studios, designing his first commercial recording facility in Bozeman, Montana. Today, Jeremiah is responsible for producing and engineering Post Production Sound, Live Sound, Music Recording, and Location Sound for shows and events both nationally and regionally. In 2010, Jeremiah earned the role of the Audio Director of the 11th & Grant with Eric Funk music television series on Montana PBS. By 2011, Jeremiah earned his first Emmy Award for Audio for his work on the 11th & Grant TV series. To date, Jeremiah has earned eleven Emmy Awards.

Aaron Pruitt

Executive Producer


For 27 years, Aaron has provided leadership in programming, production, fundraising and management at Montana PBS. He served as Executive Producer for many award-winning productions including 11th & Grant with Eric Funk, Class C: The Only Game in Town, Fort Peck Dam, Finding Traction, Keeping the Barn and Charlie Russell’s Old West. Pruitt collaborates with independent filmmakers distributing programs to national public television, such as The Last Artifact (APT), Before There Were Parks: Yellowstone and Glacier Through Native Eyes (PBS NPS) and two PBS INDEPENDENT LENS documentaries, Butte America and Indian Relay. With recent service as chair of Humanities Montana, Aaron currently is a board member of Montanans for 4-H, the Friends of Montana PBS and the Montana Broadcasters Association.
